Managing your account and settings

Update your profile, secure your login, manage your plan, and control your data.

Your profile

In account settings you can update your name and the email address tied to your account. Keeping your email current matters, because that is where DocTik sends important notices like billing receipts and security alerts.

Security

Protect your account by using a strong, unique password and updating it from settings if you ever suspect it has been exposed. Where available, enable multi-factor authentication for an extra layer of protection. If you notice any unauthorized activity, change your password immediately and contact support.

Plan and billing

Your current plan, credit balance, and billing details live in settings. From here you can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel, and view past invoices. For how credits and cycles work, see "How credits are used and billing."

Your data

  • Export your case data in a structured format
  • Delete individual cases, documents, or conversations
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data

You retain ownership of everything you upload. DocTik does not sell your data or share your case content with opposing parties, courts, or other users. See the Privacy Policy for full details on retention and your rights.

Closing your account

If you decide to leave, you can cancel and request account deletion from settings. Consider exporting your case data first, since deletion is permanent. After deletion, your data is removed within the window described in the Privacy Policy.

Account deletion is permanent. Export anything you want to keep before you delete.
