How the AI assistant works

The DocTik AI assistant is not a generic chatbot. When you ask it something inside a case, it already knows the context of that case — the parties, the documents you have uploaded, your role, the court, and your timeline. That means you can ask "What’s my next deadline?" or "What does this notice mean for me?" without re-explaining your whole situation each time.

The assistant is grounded in civil procedure and common case types for California and Nevada. When you ask about an eviction, a wage claim, or a small-claims matter, it draws on the relevant rules and processes for those states rather than generic national information. This makes its guidance far more useful for the courts you are actually in.
